Capabilities & Specifications
Optical Windows
We produce high-performance optical windows up to 24 inches in diameter, fabricated from materials such as BK-7, Fused Silica, Suprasil®-2, and Excimer-Grade Fused Silica. Surface flatness specifications up to λ/20, depending on application requirements.
Mirrors
Our precision optical mirrors cover a wide array of custom solutions: flat and spherical mirrors (incl. off-axis), polished aluminum mirrors, fold mirrors, collimating & focusing mirrors, telescope primary & secondary mirrors, and more. Each optical component is crafted to meet or exceed the optical performance expected for demanding defense, commercial, and scientific setups.
Materials & Surface Quality
- Material Options: BK-7, Fused Silica, Suprasil®-2, Excimer-Grade Fused Silica, Aluminum, Nickel, plus other special optical materials as requested.
- Surface Flatness / Quality: Up to 1/20 λ, tested with high-precision interferometry (e.g. AMF's Zygo™ GPI Interferometer).
- Size Ranges: Optical mirrors and windows from small diameters (≈ 0.5″) up to large formats (≈ 24″) to accommodate many customer needs.
